Below is an actual email conversation between a customer and a helpdesk employee of a software company. The company makes archiving software for Books, Movies, Music, MP3's, Photos, Games and Comics.

Their email support people at times receive requests for other archiving software, such as a toys, knitting patterns, recipes, statues of mice (really!) and many others.

This one, though, must be the greatest they ever had:

Date: Tue, 01 Jun 2010 03:42:30 -0400 Arrr, Avast ye, Captain Morgan, Thanks for your email, Yarr! Unfortunately we not be releasin' software for archi'in' your treasure maps. Any pirate worth his salt knows that maps should be kept in secret locations with no solid record o' their existence. It maybe useful t' catalog your pre'ious plunderin's, but lad, we belie'e that the maps should remain a myth so that no other scurvy dawgs can lay ther grubby hands upon it. Yarr, if ye be havin' any further questions, I'll be makin' ye walk the plank! Best regards, Chris D.
